Voice-Activated Harry Potter Wand

Check out how it was made!

This wand is completely VOICE-ACTIVATED. Once the battery (and mic) is inserted, your voice will do the rest. The spells for each item:

This image is the highest level of inputs and outputs. Voice being the only input and the “spells” being the output.

This image shows the inner processes. This is so I can brainstorm solutions to each process. For example…

For the “Switch” Block:

MOSFET (might require more circuitry (Gate Driver) but would be fast and efficient)
Relay (requires an electrical signal to switch, simple but may degrade with high currents (Incendio))
Toggle (A mechanical switch activated by hand, cannot activate with voice)
Push Button (Similar to Toggle but would be non latching, activated by hang and cannot be activated with voice)

In this example, I chose a relay for it’s simplicity and cost.

The wand was about a year (on and off) in the making. From senior year of high school to senior year of college, I read and watched all of the Harry Potter Films. I was in love with the franchise. I left it wanting a wand of my own. This… Is my version of that.
